Night operations via PPR until 00.00 LT

4. Traffic Circuits

Circuit altitude: 2800 ft AMSL / High-performance aircraft: 3000 ft AMSL

Circuit direction: North of the field

CAUTION: Active aerobatic box north of the runway. Expect gyrocopter activity to the south.

5. Arrivals

VFR aircraft inbound to Casarrubios Aerodrome shall establish radio contact with TWR 123.500 MHz upon reaching visual reporting points N or S, and request traffic information.

Arrivals from the south shall continue via the visual corridor to N‑2, reporting positions on self‑information.

Maintain 2800 ft AMSL in the traffic circuit.

Extreme caution due to active aerobatic area. Remain alert for gyrocopter traffic to the south.

After landing, to close the flight plan, contact ARO Madrid at +34 918 603 559.

6. Departures

Casarrubios is a VFR-only aerodrome.
IFR flights must be conducted under a Z flight plan.
Prior to departure, the flight plan must be activated by calling ARO Madrid at +34 918 603 559.
After take-off, contact Madrid Approach on 124.230 MHz.

8. Restrictions

Overflight of Valmojado, El Álamo, and Calypo Fado is prohibited.
In the absence of radio service, operations shall be conducted under self‑information procedures.
Touch-and-go operations shall be permitted when such manoeuvres do not cause interference with local departure or landing traffic. Priority shall at all times be given to departing traffic and arriving traffic for a full stop.
